UND and St. Cloud State will do battle as NCHC foes for the first time.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – This weekend’s National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) series between North Dakota and St. Cloud State will feature a pair of top-10 teams, according to the latest national polls released today.

UND gained one spot in both polls, going from sixth to fifth in the USCHO.com poll and improving from seventh to sixth in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll. St. Cloud State also jumped in both, ranking eighth in the USA Today rankings and ninth in the USCHO poll.

Minnesota remained the nation’s top-ranked team, receiving all of the first-place votes in both polls.

UND and SCSU will do battle on Friday (7:37 pm Central) and Saturday (7:07) at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
