GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota, riding a 9-game unbeaten streak, climbed two spots and was ranked No. 18 in this week’s USCHO.com Division I men’s hockey poll.

North Dakota, previously ranked 20th, improved to 12-7-3 overall with a win and a tie last weekend against non-conference opponent Bemidji State. UND will return to National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) play this week at Denver, which is ranked No. 16. Both UND and DU remained unranked but received votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.

Minnesota was the unanimous No. 1 in both polls this week, with Boston College, Union, Quinnipiac and St. Cloud State rounding out the top five.

Friday’s game at Denver begins at 8:37 p.m. Central and will be telecast live nationally on CBS Sports Network. Saturday’s game starts at 8:07 p.m. Central and can be seen on Root Sports Rocky Mountain.
