GRAND FORKS, N.D. – A pair of critical late-season National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) games have been added to UND’s 2013-14 men’s hockey television broadcast schedule.

UND Athletics announced today that Midco Sports Network will pick up the telecasts of UND’s men’s hockey series Feb. 21-22 at Minnesota Duluth.

Midco Sports Network has reached an agreement with My 9/KBJR-TV in Duluth and will air the My 9 production of both games on Midco Sports Network channel 622 (HD) and 26 (SD).

Friday night’s game will highlight a UND Athletics programming block that also includes UND Insider Weekly (5:30 p.m.), UND Sports Extra (6 p.m.), Through These Doors (6:30 p.m.) and North Dakota Hockey with Dave Hakstol (7 p.m.).

With five weeks remaining in the regular season, both North Dakota and Minnesota Duluth remain in the hunt to win the Penrose Cup as NCHC regular season champion. UND enters the week tied for second place in the league standings, two points behind league-leading St. Cloud State and one point ahead of fifth-place UMD.
