GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota will enter next weekend’s first-place showdown at St. Cloud State ranked No. 10 nationally according to both national polls released earlier today.

UND jumped one spot in both the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls after a road sweep at Minnesota Duluth last weekend. UND (18-9-3, 13-7-0 NCHC) won 3-0 on Friday and 6-2 on Saturday and has lost just twice in the last 17 games (14-2-1).

Top-ranked Boston College remained the No. 1 team in both polls, followed by No. 2 Minnesota, No. 3 Union, No. 4 Ferris State and No. 5 St. Cloud State. SCSU will host UND next weekend in a battle of the two teams tied for first place in the NCHC standings.

Friday’s game at St. Cloud State can be seen nationally on CBS Sports Network with an 8:08 p.m. Central puck drop. Saturday’s game starts at 7:07 p.m. and can be seen in the St. Cloud viewing area on Charter.
