NCHC unveils 2014-15 conference schedule

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), which completed its first year of existence in 2013-14, announced today its 96-game conference schedule for the 2014-15 season. All eight member teams will play a 24-game conference schedule leading up to the annual NCHC Frozen Faceoff at Target Center in Minneapolis.

North Dakota will open the NCHC slate Oct. 17-18 at Colorado College, one of six conference road trips UND will make in 2014-15. The defending NCAA Midwest Region champion will also travel to St. Cloud State (Nov. 21-22), Denver (Dec. 12-13), Nebraska Omaha (Jan. 30-31), Western Michigan (Feb. 20-21) and Miami (March 6-7).

UND’s conference schedule features six home series, including Miami (Nov. 14-15), Nebraska Omaha (Nov. 28-29), Minnesota Duluth (Jan. 9-10), Colorado College (Jan. 23-24), Denver (Feb. 13-14) and St. Cloud State (Feb. 27-28).

UND will announce its entire 2014-15 schedule, including non-conference and exhibition games, at a later date.
