GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The annual U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame game and a visit from a top-10 program highlight the University of North Dakota’s 2014-15 men’s hockey schedule, which was released in its entirety today.

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) announced the 2014-15 conference schedule in April. Today, UND unveiled its non-conference and exhibition opponents for next season.

UND’s 35-game regular season schedule features 20 home games and 15 road games, including five non-conference opponents from four different conferences: Air Force (Atlantic Hockey), Lake Superior State (WCHA), Niagara (Atlantic Hockey), Providence (Hockey East) and Wisconsin (Big 10).

UND will host Providence Oct. 24-25 in the Friars’ first visit to Grand Forks since 1987. Providence was ranked No. 9 in the final USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll of the 2013-14 season.

The following weekend, UND will host Air Force in the annual U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game. It is UND’s first time hosting the event since 2007-08 against Michigan State.

UND will travel to Wisconsin Nov. 7-8 for a non-conference series with the Badgers, the defending Big 10 playoff champions.

Lake Superior State will visit Ralph Engelstad Arena Dec. 5-6, the Lakers’ first trip to Grand Forks since Dec. 1973. UND will close out its non-conference schedule Jan. 16-17 at home against Niagara.

Start times for all home games will be announced at a later date.
