UPDATE (5:34 p.m.): The game will now begin at 6:35 p.m. Central.

OMAHA, Neb. -- North Dakota's outdoor men's hockey game at TD Ameritrade Park has been delayed until 6:37 p.m. Central due to poor ice conditions.

The game, against host Nebraska Omaha, was originally scheduled to begin at 4:07 p.m. But deteriorating ice conditions due to the sun resulted in a concern for player safety. The sun is expected to begin setting by 6 p.m., which would allow ice crews to re-surface the ice and the water to properly freeze.

The broadcast of the game will remain available to Midcontinent subscribers only on channels 27 and 622.

Midco was not authorized to re-distribute the broadcast to its affiliates, and there is no DirecTV or DISH Network coverage of the game.

A video webcast can be purchased at AmericaOneSports.com.
