GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The second stop of the 2014 Champions Golf Tour took place on June 16 at Oxbow Golf and Country Club in Fargo/Oxbow, N.D. A little rain to start the day turned into beautiful weather for all 27 five-person teams.

Those who participated, along with our 35 sponsors, helped raise money for student-athlete scholarships. Special thanks to the local sponsors at the Fargo tournament:  Eide Bailly LLP, First International Bank & Trust, and Spitfire Bar & Grill and lunch sponsor, Border States Electric.

Thank you to our local committee members for helping to put together a great tournament: Clint Nelson ‘71, Lew Wilson ‘74, Frank Pearson ‘67, Peter Stenehjem ‘07, Richard Walstad ‘61, Duane Breitling ’62, Chris Kennelly ‘94.

UND coaches who participated included: Dave Hakstol (men's hockey), Bubba Schweigert (football), Dane Jackson (men's hockey), Travis Brewster (women's basketball), Brian Jones (men's basketball), Jeff Dodson (baseball), Natalie Martinson (women's golf), Matt Kellogg (soccer), Eric Schmidt (football) and Shawn Kostich (football).
