TORONTO, Ont.--  Senior Megan Lauck scored a team-high 17 points while senior Madi Buck added 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 64-44 winning effort for the University of North Dakota against a Toronto All-Star team Tuesday night at George Brown College. UND finishes at 3-0 on its exhibition foreign trip.

"Three games in three nights and three types of playing styles. We struggled with some pressure at times but we saw definite signs of improvement there," UND head coach Travis Brewster said. "Our team is starting to understand the concepts of the tweaks we've put into our offense. The team was around this summer getting better and we have more resolve."

UND, as it had the previous two nights, got out to a quick start with a 13-3 advantage in the early going. North Dakota connected on 7-of-8 shots from the floor to start the game and Buck made good on all five of her shots in the opening half as UND led 33-26 at the break.

North Dakota shot 57.7 percent in the opening 20 minutes but turned it over 18 times under constant pressure. UND totaled just seven miscues in the second half to stretch its lead, a margin that had dwindled to five at 42-37. Buck then drove the lane and scored on a runner and hit an open jumper to kickstart a 14-3 UND run. Lauck had five points in that stretch while Leah Szabla scored on the fastbreak and Ellen Kiser converted a conventional three-point play.

Mia Loyd had eight points and 14 rebounds for North Dakota while Szabla also added eight points and Allyssa Wall chipped-in seven points, six rebounds and three blocked shots.

UND concludes its foreign tour. Minnesota Crookston will serve as the first of its preseason exhibitions Nov. 2 at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
