GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Tickets are now available for the fifth biennial A Night of Champions: UND Athletics Auction & Gala. The event, formerly named the Sioux-Per Gala & Auction, will be held on Friday, April 19, at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center in Grand Forks.
A Night of Champions provides fans with the opportunity to support UND Athletics at an energetic and full-filled event featuring great food, musical entertainment from student-athletes Tate Maris (hockey) and Luke Hoplin (football), one-of-a-kind live and silent auction items, and more. Tickets are $100 per person.
A new feature in 2013 will be the implementation of the online bidding software ClickBid. Event attendees will conduct their silent auction bidding the night of the event via smart devices (ie., iPhone, iPad, Android Phone, tablet or laptop, etc.). See the online bidding tutorial here. Attendees will be able to browse auction items from their smart device and receive electronic notification when they have been outbid. Have a set amount you are willing to spend on an item? Utilize the ever popular “eBay” feature and enter in your maximum bid. ClickBid will automatically bid for you until you’ve won the auction or your maximum bid has been met. Extra bidding devices will be available at the event for those guests who do not own a smart device.

As the signature fundraising and social event for UND Athletics, A Night of Champions auction proceeds and attendance benefits support the more than 400 student-athletes at the University of North Dakota. In partnership with North Dakota Spirit | The Campaign for UND, the gala supports North Dakota Impact Scholarships, which are critical in catapulting the University of North Dakota’s 20 athletics teams to success in competition, in the classrooms, and in service to our communities as we make our mark as a Division I university.
