GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Fans will hear from UND head football coach Chris Mussman and head women's hockey coach Brian Idalski at Friday's UND Fan Luncheon at the Alerus Center. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon gets underway at noon at Entrance 5.

Coach Mussman's team tangles with Sacramento State Saturday at home. UND defeated the Hornets last season, 35-13, in Sacramento, Calif., for the program's first Big Sky Conference win.

Coach Idalski's team is 3-0-1 and entertains Ohio State for a weekend series at Ralph Engelstad Arena in WCHA play. North Dakota-- ranked fourth in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll and fifth in the USCHO.com poll-- is unbeaten through its first four games for the first time in program history.

Both teams will participate in the "North Dakota Strong" campaign, which helps raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research during the month of October at select UND athletic events. All proceeds will be donated to Mayo Clinic for breast cancer research and will benefit the community of Grand Forks, including patients of Altru Health System, a proud member of the Mayo Clinic Health Network. Learn more about North Dakota Strong here.

UND Fan Luncheons are held every week of a home football or men’s hockey game. For just $10, fans can enjoy a buffet-style meal, including beverages and dessert, and listen to a variety of UND head coaches, student-athletes and administrators. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at noon.
