GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota dance team leaves for the UDA National Dance Championships in Orlando on Thursday and you can help send them there.

Before leaving for nationals, the dance team will hold a special performance fundraiser on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The performance will also feature a silent auction and bake sale, with all proceeds going toward the cost of the trip to nationals. The bake sale and silent auction will be followed by a UND dance team football halftime routine, a UND cheer team performance and a UND dance team nationals routine.

The UND dance team, coached by Brittney Weber, has taken first place at a pair of in-state competitions this year and recently competed at the University of Minnesota’s Best of the Best Showcase and performed at the Mall of America.

If you are unable to attend Wednesday’s performance but would still like to make a contribution to the UND Cheer and Dance Teams, please visit www.undalumni.org/cheer.
