MINOT, N.D. -- Thousands of fair-goers stopped by the UND Sports Day tent at the North Dakota State Fair on Sunday afternoon.

Fans got a chance to meet their favorite coaches, get autographs from student-athletes and win free prizes from Midco Sports Net, the sponsor for the event.

Midco Sports Net gave away 500 free t-shirts in 30 minutes and the autograph line stayed busy all day long.

"It's always great to see the passion of UND sports from across the state," women's hockey coach Brian Idalski said.

UND will be in Bismarck, N.D., on Aug. 12 as part of the Champions Tour 2014. Check out www.undalumni.org/championstour for more information on that event.
