GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The third stop of the 2014 Champions Golf Tour took place on July 17 at Detroit Country Club in Detroit Lakes, Minn. More than 160 participants turned out on a picture-perfect summer day.

Those who participated, along with our 18 sponsors, helped raise money for student-athlete scholarships. Special thanks to Lakeside Tavern, our local sponsor for the Detroit Lakes tournament.

UND coaches who participated included: Dave Hakstol (men's hockey), Bubba Schweigert (football), Travis Brewster (women's basketball), Natalie Martinson (women's golf), Eric Schmidt (football), Tim Swanson (men’s golf), Erik Fabian (women’s hockey), and Danny Freund (football).

There are still two tournaments remaining on our 2014 Champions Golf Tour in Bismarck and Grand Forks. Sign up TODAY at www.undalumni.org/golf! Spots are filling up quickly. We hope to see you there!
