Volleyball update from spring practice

GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The University of North Dakota volleyball team is full-gear into its spring schedule with practices into their third week in its non-traditional season. UND has the unique position of having zero seniors from last season, so the entire roster is intact for head coach Ashley Hardee.

His team qualified for the Big Sky Conference Tournament in its first season, but Hardee and company has their sights sets higher this coming season. UND will compete in three spring season tournaments with the first coming this weekend at Northern Iowa. UND will face Minnesota, Northern Iowa, Iowa State and South Dakota in addition to six-time defending NCAA Division II national champion Concordia-St. Paul, among others.
