DES MOINES, IOWA-- Sophomore-to-be Ke-Ke Burks finished 10th while teammate Molly Griep was 11th in the discus throw on the final day of the 2013 USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium.

It was Burks' second event of the meet after finishing 17th in the hammer throw on Thursday. Burks' opening toss Saturday was a 45.30-meter heave, the second-longest throw in the first flight. After fouling twice, Griep unleashed a 45.13-meter throw in her final attempt to finish third in the flight and 11th overall.

In the men's javelin, incoming freshman John Hoplin finished 12th after his final attempt sailed 54.48 meters.

The top eight finishers in each event earn USA Track and Field All-America honors, and the top two qualify for the Pan Am Junior Games.
