Baseball to conduct third annual clothing drive

GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- The UND baseball team will be holding its third Annual Winter Clothing Drive for the Northlands Rescue Mission on Saturday November 2nd.  

"We are thrilled to be holding our clothing drive for the Northlands Rescue Mission," UND head baseball coach Jeff Dodson said. "It is great to be able to provide a little help to such a great cause. We are also very thankful to Rydell Chevrolet for providing a drop spot for people to bring clothes as well. Our players unfortunately can't reach every house in Grand Forks on that date, so this provides a great option for people to contribute to the cause."

Team members will be going door to door throughout the Grand Forks community between noon and 4:00 pm on November 2nd collecting adult winter clothing (coats, jackets, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.) and will deliver it to the mission upon completion of the event.  

Rydell Chevrolet will be accepting donations at its showroom from Monday, Oct. 28th through Nov. 2nd.
