GRAND FORKS, N.D. - - Before heading into its holiday break, the University of North Dakota track and field team hosted its second annual Green and Black Intersquad meet.

The team was divided into two groups and went head-to-head. They also competed against an unattached, non-scoring alumni team. All events were run as mixed gender.

The two squads finished within a point of each other. The green squad topped the black squad 1316.50 points to 1315.50.

Event Winners included:

150-meter: Oluwaseyi Aguda, 16.55 seconds

300-meter: Oluwaseyi Aguda, 34.98 seconds

600-meter: Cody Roder, 1:23.38

1,200-meter: Scott Kvidera (alumni), 3:12.07

60-meter hurdles: Josh Pillath, 8.78 seconds

4x300 relay: Meghan Janssen, Shandon Toenies, Lucy Steinmeyer, and Cody Roder, 2:36.19

High Jump: Nolan Hovland, 6-04 (1.93 meters)

Pole Vault: Nick Krella, 14-05.25 (4.40)

Long Jump: Riley Miller, 21-08.75 (6.62)

Shot Put: Michael Quesenberry, 51-07.75 (15.74)

Weight Throw: Molli Detloff, 63-04.75 (19.32)

The Fighting Hawks’ competition starts back up after the holiday break with the Bison Classic on Saturday, Jan. 13.
