SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- Real life officially hit the University of North Dakota men's basketball around 6 p.m.
The bus pulled up the Vivent Smart Home Arena, the team walked into the locker room, and media began swarming the No. 15 seed in the NCAA West Region.
Until that moment, it was just another game for the Fighting Hawks. And truth be told, it still is.
With the bright lights shining, UND is treating Thursday's game versus Arizona like any other. However, they know that bigger stakes are in play.
Carson Shanks summed it up well:
Quinton Hooker, Corey Baldwin and Drick Bernstine represented the Fighting Hawks at the press conference with media from around the nation.
Head coach Brian Jones also took his turn.
With one more sleep ahead, UND is ready for showtime.
