OGDEN, Utah-- For the third consecutive week, UND senior Kaylin VanDomelen was named the Big Sky Conference's Pitcher of the Week. Her most recent performance included her first career perfect game, a career-high for strikeouts and the second no-hitter in a two-week span.

VanDomelen needed just a thrifty 64 pitches to dispatch all 21 Santa Clara batters in order in her Mar. 9 win, 3-0. She threw just 15 balls the entire game, striking out the side on three different occasions. Her 14 punchouts in the win set a new career best as she logged her second no-hitter of the season (Feb. 24).

In her last six starts in the circle, VanDomelen is 5-1 with a miniscule 0.66 earned run average with just four earned runs allowed in 42.1 innings. She's struck out 48 in that span and has allowed four hits or fewer in five of the six outings, including two no-hitters.

She becomes just the second-ever player in league history to earn three straight weekly honors.

North Dakota continues its Spring Break trip as it plays in the Rainbow Wahine Classic hosted by the University of Hawaii. It features seven games, beginning Wednesday with fourth-ranked Tennessee.
