GRAND FORKS, N.D. – With a majority of his latest recruiting class secured in December, University of North Dakota head coach Bubba Schweigert put the finishing touches on the Fighting Hawks’ 2018 class by adding eight more players to his program on Wednesday.
Those eight players will join the 22 that Schweigert and his staff have added since December when the NCAA allowed football programs an early signing period for the first time. These latest additions feature four players that signed National Letters of Intent and four preferred walk-ons that will all be on campus for fall camp this August.
Schweigert and his staff will cap the day at the annual Signing Day Party set for the Alerus Center, which starts with a social at 5:30 p.m. and will be following a program at 6 p.m. CT.
