The Fighting Hawks return to the course to open their spring season at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nev., which will be held March 12-13.

Where are you from and what do you like most about your hometown? I grew up in Blaine, Minn. I love the big super rink and Schwans soccer fields that we have.

When did you start playing golf and who got you started playing the game? I started playing golf about 12 years ago when I was nine years old and my grandpa has been my number one supporter and teacher from that day forward.

What is the favorite course you have played? I love playing the TPC Golf Course in Blaine when I was in high school.

What is your dream foursome and on what course would you want to play? I would love to experience a round of golf with Jordan Spieth, my favorite player, and Rory Mcilroy, my grandpa's favorite player and I would like my grandpa to be the fourth person. We would play a course in Hawaii.

Who is your favorite professional golfer and why? I love Jordan Spieth because he was such a young golfer when he started and has
been so successful and not to mention he is cute.

What are your hobbies outside of golf? I was a swimmer all through high school and I also love to stay busy by joining clubs
and volunteering with different organizations.

What is your major and career aspirations? My major is business management with a minor in international business. I would
love to someday work abroad for a non profit organization.

What is your go-to club in your golf bag? My go to club is my 7-iron. If I need a solid shot; 7 iron. If I need a punch out shot; 7 iron. If I need a bump chip shot; 7 iron.

If you’re playing alternate shot, who do you want driving on your team, who do you want putting and who do you want hitting an approach shot?
Driver: Jenna Janu
Putter: Haily Abel
Approach Shots: Hannah Peterson

How many hole-in-ones (descriptions if so) or describe your most memorable hole out? I had one hole-in-one in 2011 at Majestic Oaks during my Junior League days. I ended up shooting one of my worst rounds of the summer, but it didn't matter because i was so
excited about my hole-in-one.

If you were not playing collegiate golf, is there another sport you would want to play in college? I would defiantly have loved to swim in college. I almost thought about trying out but golf won my heart over in the end.

What’s your nickname most used by teammates?
Sometimes they call me Ry, but mostly I just go by Rylee.
