Monique and I have officially been named to the 2010 women's hockey Olympic team. It was officailly annouced Thursday and it is hard to put into words how it feels to have accomplished something we have truly been working towards for the past seven years.

Our situation is unique compared to any of our teamates because our goal has always been to make it together. Now we can truly focus on our ultimate goal, which is to win a gold medal in February.

We appreciate all the support from the Grand Forks area and hope everyone has a fun holiday season! We got some videos of our day at the Mall of America where the team was announced to the public.

We head home to Grand Forks this Friday and get to spend Christmas with our family and head back to Blaine on the 26th.

Merry Chirstmas!
