The Week Ahead
North Dakota returns from a two-week road swing to host Miami University in National Collegiate Hockey Conference action.

The two teams enter the series with identical 1-1-0 conference records.

Broadcast Coverage  
All UND men’s hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the UND Sports Home of Economy Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. The flaghsip station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, in his 39th season as the voice of UND men’s hockey, calls the action while Steve Olson provides color analysis.

This weekend’s games will be telecast live on Midco Sports Network. Alex Heinert handles the play-by-play and is joined by color analyst and former UND goaltender Jake Brandt and rinkside reporter Katie Hale.

Both games will also be streamed live via NCHC.tv.

The RedHawks (4-2-0 overall) are coming off of a tightly-contested series split at home against Colorado College last weekend, winning 3-2 in overtime Friday on a Josh Melnick goal before dropping a 2-1 decision on Saturday.Sophomore foward Gordie Green is off to a blistering start with a team-leading 13 points (4g, 9a) in eight games.

Junior defenseman Grant Hutton leads the NCHC with five power-play goals, keying a PP unit that is clicking at 27.9 percent through six games.

Sophomore goalie Ryan Larkin has started all eight of Miami’s games, going 4-4-0 with a 2.71 goals against average and .884 save percentage.

The RedHawks enter the series as the NCHC’s most penalized team, averaging 16.9 penalty minutes per game.
