GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- University of North Dakota head softball coach Jordan Stevens and his staff announced eight student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent during the early signing period. The group is comprised of five Californians with two more from Arizona and a Minnesotan all ready to contribute immediately in the Fall of 2018.
"We are proud and excited to bring in such a talented, diverse, and gifted group of student-athletes to our program," Stevens said. "This group of young women will surely help us become an immediate force when we join The Summit League next year. We are very happy to welcome them to our Fighting Hawk family."
The bunch will join a UND softball squad that is on the rise, notching a program-best in wins last season en route to the Big Sky Conference Tournament for the first time in school history.
