DETROIT LAKES, Minn.  – Almost 150 golfers turned out on a hot day July 21 for the third stop of the 2016 UND Champions Golf Tour at the Detroit Country Club.

Those who participated among the 35 teams, along with 24 sponsors, helped raise money for student-athlete scholarships. Special thanks to our local sponsors, Lakeside Tavern Brewery and Otter Tail Corporation.

UND coaches who participated included: Dane Jackson, Travis Brewster, Mallory Bernhard, Adam Jacobson, Bubba Schweigert, Danny Freund, Eric Schmidt, Natalie Martinson, and Erik Fabian.

Only three stops on the 2016 Champions Golf Tour remain. Minot, Bismarck, and Grand Forks are filling quickly, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible!  If you are unable to attend but still want to make an impact, you can become a hole sponsor. Go to NDChampionsClub.com/golf or call 701.777.4078.
