GRAND FORKS, N.D. – University of North Dakota Athletics Director Brian Faison announced a 25-game television schedule for the men’s and women’s basketball programs on Wednesday.

Midco Sports Network (MidcoSN) and FOX Sports North (FSN) will combine to air 18 of those contests in HD, while seven more road games will also air on various networks. The combined coverage by MidcoSN and FSN will provide the most television exposure in UND men’s and women’s basketball history. Fox College Sports (FCS) will also have the option to air each of the 18 home games scheduled for broadcast.

“We’re excited to grow our men’s and women’s basketball television exposure around the region and nation,” Faison said. “To be able to add FOX Sports North to our schedule in addition to our agreement with Midco Sports Network for our home games is exciting and a great opportunity for our fans across the region and nation to follow our basketball teams even more closely. The added exposure will also help our student-athletes and coaches as they continue to build their basketball brands here at UND.”

MidcoSN will produce five home men’s basketball games in addition to the away game at South Dakota State on Nov. 21. MidcoSN will also produce five home women’s basketball games as well as the away contest at South Dakota on Dec. 21. Dan Hammer returns as the play-by-play voice for UND home games, while Greg Stemen joins him as analyst.
